Welcome
Welcome to Let’s Play Sports, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to coaching young athletes and giving them tools needed on and off the field for living happy, healthy & celebrated lives.
We exist because of you. Our schools are where young people spend 2/3 of their day. Extracurricular sports, whether it be through the public school system or other youth organizations are a proven outlet for learning how to become a team player, to be self-disciplined, and self-motivated. Onsite and virtual classrooms define these modern times for all students – kids from all walks of life, of all ethnicities and socio-economic experiences. The pressure these days is unbelievable – couple that with the pandemic and it is important now more than ever, to nurture our kids and help them navigate through uncertainty and behavioral health issues, especially for our young athletes.
Given his experience as a Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH), Founder, Dr. Larry Ford has opened doors to help people of all ages – including the NBPA as a preferred Certified Behavioral Health provider – to “power through” the challenges of mental health diagnoses, and that is what motivated him to create Let’s Play Sports!
In partnership with Charles Thompson, CEO (QB Oklahoma Sooners), Dr. Ford also founded Hustle Inc, 405 an organization dedicated to preparing young football players for life – on and off the field. Hustle Inc 405 trains young athletes utilizing the founders’ vast experience and passion for the game. Physical Fitness & Agility, Self-Discipline & Motivation, and Mental Health & Well-Being are the focus.
Mission
To make a difference in the lives of today’s youth. To teach young athletes that determination, perseverance, and a strong work ethic can take one wherever they choose to go in life. To share and engage in life-changing collaborative, experiential moments with players of all levels, coaches, and parents.
Program
A program designed for today’s youth, tomorrow’s disruptors. As a world citizen and productive member of our society, Dr. Ford believes in giving back. He understands the importance of looking up to a mentor, the significance in helping others and the true value in investing in young people.
